Our Mission
To actively restore and preserve ancient landscapes and plant communities, many near the brink of extinction, and to bring about environmental awareness by handing down the necessary tools and knowledge needed to recreate and preserve these indigenous, sustainable landscapes.

Pastorek Habitats collects our own local-genetic, prairie seed from specialized growing sites and natural landscapes across Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. These specialized seed mixes are available for purchase.

Research & Partnerships
We continously engage in research projects across the region to develop the most current and best practices for establishing landscape-scale restorations by way of native seed as well as exploring ecological and cultural relationships in urban landscapes.
